Splitting Safety The DR 4 -Ton WOOD SPLITTER has a ram with 4 tons of force. Note: Always be sure to stand inside the Operator Zone to run the wood splitter (Figure 6). This is the area directly behind your DR 4 -Ton WOOD SPLITTER. Never operate the wood splitter from anyplace else. Operator Zone Handle logs only from the sides, never by the ends.
