Using screws that are too long might damage the drive. You can mount the DVD-RAM/DVD-R drive horizontally or vertically in the computer. Precautions for handling Be careful when handling the removed disc. Debris, dust particles, fingerprints, smears, or scratches might impair recording and playback of the media. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean dust or other debris from the disc. Do not use solvents to clean the disc surface. When labeling a disc, write only on the printed label side using a soft felt-tip marker. Keep the disc out of direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity.
