The most important area of concern is to insure that building evacuation is not impeded in the event of a fire or other emergency condition. This generally requires 1/2” of spacing (12.7mm) and Securitron offers brackets of the appropriate width with pre-drilled clearance holes for the Magnet mounting screws.
