Wheel axle assembly inserts into hollow trailer axle Once the wheels are fully seated in the hollow axle, the quick-release laver should be positioned so that it is aimed to the rear of the trailer in the “CLOSED” position (the lever is marked for OPEN or CLOSED positions).
