Preparation Battery Installation Your DV requires lithium battery (3.7V). To insert the battery in the camcorder: 1. Slide the battery bolt to open battery door. 2. Load the lithium battery correctly as the polarity (+ and -) marked on the battery cover. 3. Close battery door. Notes: If you do not intend to use the device for a long time, remove the battery from your DV. 6

Charging the Lithium Battery 1. Attach the battery pack to the camcorder. 2. Power off your DV and connect it to PC with USB cable correctly. 3. The charging indicator will be turned to blue, showing that the battery is charging. 4. When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the PC from the camcorder.
