Blade Travel Starting Bandsaw The blade travel and wheel rotation on the Model G8692 are indicated by a direction arrow on the top cover, shown in Figure 8. Never operate the bandsaw without the proper blade guards and guides in place. Unprotected or unguided blades can cause injury to the operator and damage the machine or workpiece.
