The smc PENTAX-DA lens can be used exclusively with PENTAX digital SLR cameras. Its image circle is specialized for image sensors in PENTAX digital SLR cameras and its optical system is optimized for the characteristics of digital images. To mount the lens on the camera body Attach the lens while aligning the red dots on the lens and body, then turn the lens clockwise until it clicks in place.
