Volume Controls To increase or decrease the system volume press theVOLUME+ orVOLUME– buttons on the remote control or VOLUME Control on the front panel. The Volume Level Indicator will appear on the display when you change the volume level. The level indicator ranges from “00” (Minimum) to “30” (Maximum). MUTE Button (On Remote Control Only) Press theMUTE button on the remote control to shut off the speakers temporarily, for example, to answer the telephone. The sound stops and the “MUTE” indicator flashes in the display. Press theMUTE button again to cancel the mute function and restore the sound. The “ MUTE” indicator disappears. The mute function will also be canceled automatically by pressing theVOLUME+ orVOLUME– buttons. 1

Setting The Clock When the unit is connected to the AC outlet for the first time the “––:––” flashes on the display. Note: Do not turn the main unit power ‘On’. The clock can only be set while the main unit power is ‘Off’. The clock can only be set with the Remote Control. 1.)
