You can set up the remote to control the satellite TV receiver and up to three other devices. These devices can be a TV, a VCR or DVD player, and a third device. Use batteries of the same kind, for example, alkaline or carbon zinc, and don’t mix batteries of different kinds. Alkaline batteries last longer. 1.
