The button locks and the tape fast-forwards until it reaches the end of the tape or you press STOP. This can cause playback sound quality to deteriorate. To restore the sound quality, fast-forward the tape

We recommend alkaline batteries, such as RadioShack Cat. No. 23-552. 1. Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow until it stops, then lift up on the cover’s outer edge. Caution: The battery compartment cover is attached to the SCP-81 by a hinge. Do not attempt to remove it. 2. Install two AA batteries as indicated by the po

To remove the belt clip, press down on the arrow and slide the clip in the direction of the arrow.
