step 6 Step 6 T ake your electric fir ebox out of its packaging and position it between the 2 legs of the mantel. Once you ar e close to the wall, plug the fir ebox into the near est outlet. The fir ebox comes with 3 metal brackets and 20 black scr ews. These metal brackets must be attached to both the sides of the fir ebox and the mantel to ensur e that your fir ebox does not move ar ound as you use it. 2 of the brackets have 2 lar ge holes on one side.
