Get started 1. Open the cover of the SIM card slot. 2. Insert a SIM card in the SIM card slot. Make sure the contact area on the card is facing up and the beveled corner is facing toward the device. Push the card in. 3. Close the cover of the SIM card slot. Make sure the cover is properly closed. If the SIM card is not properly in place, the device can only be used in the offline profile. Insert the battery Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. © 20

Insert the memory card Use only compatible microSD and microSDHC cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Charge the battery Your battery has been partially charged at the factory. If the device indicates a low charge, do the following: 1. Connect the charger to a wall outlet. © 201

Get started 2. Connect the charger to the device. 3. When the device indicates a full charge, disconnect the charger from the device, then from the wall outlet. You do not need to charge the battery for a specific length of time, and you can use the device while it is charging. If the battery is completely discharged, it may take several minutes before the charging indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made.
