Dialer and Call Progress When a user places a call, the dialer/call progress application starts. The dialer UI appears when a user makes a call by entering numbers on the keypad from the Home screen, as shown in the left of the following figure. Answering a call When somebody calls you, the phone rings. If the caller can be identified, the caller’s phone number (or name if pre-stored in your Contacts) is displayed. To answer the call, press any button on the keypad (except END). You can answer a call while using another application. The screen alerts you with the incoming call message.
