Drain System Electrical Requirements The washer can be installed using the standpipe drain system (floor or wall), the laundry tub drain system, or the floor drain system. Select the drain hose installation method you need. To keep drain water from going back into the washer: Connect Drain Hose ■ Do not force excess drain hose into standpipe. Hose should be secure but loose enough to provide a gap for air.
