VENTILATION AIR FRESH AIR Ventilation Air From Inside Building FOR This fresh air would come from an adjoining unconfined space. When ventilating to an adjoining unconfined space, you must provide two permanent openings: one within 12" of the COMBUSTION ceiling and one within 12" of the floor on the wall connecting the two spaces (see options 1 and AND 2, Figure 2). Installing Two Mounting Screws INSTALLING Note: Wall anchors and mounting screws are in hardware package. The hardware package is provided with heater. 4. Wait five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Then smell for gas, including OPERATING near the floor. If you smell gas, STOP! Follow “B” in the safety information HEATER at the top of page 16. If you don’t smell gas, go to the next step. Continued C-clockwise 5. Press in control knob and turn counterclockwise to the PILOT position. BURNER FLAME PATTERN INSPECTING Figure 20 shows a correct burner flame pattern. Figure 21 shows an incorrect BURNER burner flame pattern. The incorrect burner flame pattern shows yellow tipping of the flame. It also shows the flame higher than 1/2 the glass panel height.
