Firmware update Before configuring and using the MDS600, be sure that the MDS600 and all other devices in the SAS fabric are running the latest compatible versions of firmwa re. To power up the MDS600 : 1. Complete server hardware installation and cabling. See the server blade documentati on. 2. Connect the SAS cables and power cords to the MDS6 00. 3. Press and hold the Power On/Standby butto n. Wait and observe the system power LED and system fans.
