1.2.2 1.2.2 Power Power The UDAS unit normally uses power from the host computer via the USB cable. Power can also be obtained from an external power supply that is available (See Appendix B, Accessories). When the UDAS unit is connected to a power source, the computer controls the power. The unit does not have a power switch. There is an LED labeled PWR located on the front panel that indicates power to the unit, regardless of its source.
