First, charge the battery prior to use. Note that the battery of a newly purchased camera is not charged. Perform the steps below to load the battery into the camera and charge it. • Your camera requires a special CASIO rechargeable lithium ion battery (NP-110) for power. To replace the battery 1. Open the battery cover and remove Stopper the current battery. • A battery that has not been used for a long time, certain types of computers, and connection conditions can cause charging to take more than approximately six hours, which will trigger a timer that terminates charging automatically, even if the battery is not fully charged.
