ABOUT SD MEMORY CARDS AND MULTI MEDIA CARDS The response time during recording and playback is longer with MultiMediaCards compared with SD Memory Cards. This is not a defect, but rather due to the specifications of the cards. When using large capacity cards, some operations like deletion may take longer. BATTERY-CONDITION INDICATOR This camera is equipped with an automatic battery-condition indicator. When the camera is on, the battery-condition indicator appears on the data panel. If the data panel is blank, the batteries may be dead or installed incorrectly. Full-battery Icon – the battery is fully charged. SETTING UP THE CAMERA When the camera is initially turned on, the 1 LCD monitor will activate and prompt you to set the menu language and the date and time. Turn the camera on by setting the mode dial to the setup position. The Controller controller is used to make settings on the LCD monitor.
