■ Location • Place the fax on a flat, stable, vibration-free surface. • Place the fax in a cool, dry, clean, well ventilated place. –Make sure the area is free from dust. –Make sure the location is not affected by extreme temperature changes, and always stays between 10° and 32.5°C. –Make sure the area’s relative humidity is always between 20% and 85%. •Keep the fax away from direct sunlight. • Do not use the fax near water. Make sure that no wet or humid objects come into contact with the fax.

SETTING UP Loading paper Paper guidelines _______________________________ • Be sure to load paper of the correct size, weight, and quantity recommended for your fax (see pp. 3-1, S-1). • Store all paper wrapped and on a flat surface until ready to use.
