Regular Maintenance SERVICING THE MOWER BLADES � Blades should be sharp and free of nicks and dents. If not, sharpen blades as described in following steps. � To remove blade for sharpening, use a 1” wrench on the flats of the spindle shaft while removing the blade mounting bolt with a 15/16” wrench (Figure 7). � Use a file to sharpen blade to fine edge.
