Choosing a Place for the Printer ❏ Place the printer on a flat, stable surface. ❏ Avoid using or storing the printer in places subject to rapid changes in temperature and humidity. 7. Remove the new ribbon cartridge from the package and gently turn the ribbon tightening knob counterclockwise to take up any slack in the ribbon. 8.
