Installing the Battery One battery may be included with the printer. The printer’s battery must be charged before using it. 1. Unlock the battery door by sliding down the tabs using your thumbs. Quickly swipe the card through the reader either left-to- right or right-to-left with the magnetic stripe in the reader. The magnetic stripe must be facing toward the supply door while it is passed through the reader. Stripe is facing toward supply door.
