1. OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW 1.4 Setting the Tilt Angle The tilt angle shows the direction to which the sound wave is emitted. When the sound wave is emitted horizontally, it is said to be zero (0) degrees and when emitted vertically, 90 degrees. To set a tilt angle, operate the TILT lever for the desired angle while watching the tilt angle indication at the top right corner of the sonar display. Each time the lever is operated the newly selected tilt angle is displayed in large characters
