1. CATV dynamic Mode (Cable Modem) Selecting this mode (see Figure 7) enables you to obtain dynamic IP address from your ISP via DHCP support. D. Local Port Setup This screen (see Figure 10) contains settings for configuring the LAN (4-port switch) side of the product, where your PCs are connected. You can set to distribute IP address to local PCs or not. If “Distribute IP address to local computer” is selected, users can enter the starting IP address for the group of attached PCs.
