ASSEMBLY The extension cord is fastened with a cable tie to the rear of the auger housing for shipping purposes. Cut the cable tie and remove it before operating the snow thrower. Shear Pin Storage Two replacement auger shear pins are included with your snow thrower. They may be packed with this manual, or stowed in the snow thrower’s dash panel. See Figure 8. SERVICE & ADJUSTMENTS Replacing Belts Check the condition of both auger belt and drive belt every 25 hours of snow thrower operation. Replace if either shows signs of wear and tear.
