4. Connect the Union (37) to the Coupler (34). Make sure to hand tighten only. Over-tightening may cause the Union to crack. Then, connect a 1-1/2” diam- eter Discharge Pipe to the Union. 7. Carefully set the Pump in place. Do not lower or raise the Pump by its Power Cord (1) or Discharge Pipe. (See Figure E.) 8.
