3 Setting Up the Monitor To set up the monitor, ensure that the power is turned off to the monitor, computer system, and other attached devices, then follow these steps: 1. Setting Up the Monitor Selecting the Signal Connectors and Cables There are two signal input connectors: One VGA connector and one DVI-I connector. The monitor will automatically determine which inputs have valid video signals.
