DASH DISASSEMBLY 99-3051 1990-1996 CHEVROLET CORVETTE A 1 Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2 Remove (2) screws from center AC vent and remove vent. (Figure A) 3 Remove rubber inserts in cup hold- ers and remove screw. KIT ASSEMBLY 99-3051 1990-1996 CHEVROLET CORVETTE ISO MOUNT RADIO WITH POCKET A 1 Mount the pocket trim-plate to the pocket using the (2) #8x3/8” Phillips head screws provided with kit. Larger lip towards top of pocket. (Figure A) 2 Align the mounting holes in the brackets with the mounting holes in the side of the radio and mount the brackets to the radio using screws B provided with the radio. FINAL ASSEMBLY 99-3051 FINAL ASSEMBLY Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. 1 Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
