DASH DISASSEMBLY 99-9107B AUDI A4 / S4 2002-2008 W/SYMPHONY RADIO 1 Disconnect the negative battery A terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 2 Insert Metra’s 86-9001 into the slots in the factory head unit and pull the unit out. KIT ASSEMBLY 99-9107B DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION WITH POCKET A 1 Snap the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs down. (Figure A) 2 Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation. 3 Snap radio assembly into factory B radio opening. 4 Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage and secure. KIT ASSEMBLY 99-9107B ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION 1 Mount the ISO Brackets to the A head unit with the screws sup- plied with the unit. (Figure A) 2 Slide the head unit into the radio opening until the slide clips engage. (Figure B) 3 Snap the ISO Trim Plate into the Radio Housing. KIT ASSEMBLY 99-9107B DOUBLE DIN HEAD UNIT PROVISION 1 Cut and remove center divider A from radio housing. (Figure A) Snap the DDIN brackets to the 2 inside edge of the radio housing. (Figure B) Slide the DDIN radio unit into the 3 DDIN bracket/radio housing assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit.
