Hardware Installation Preparing installation The only tool you need for the installation is a screwdriver. Discharge yourself of static charge by touching the power unit casing. Turn off your computer and all peripheral devices. Disconnect the computer from the power supply and all necessary components. Loosen the computer's cover screws and remove the cover.
