First time Operation - Installation Inserting Batteries into the Remote Control Make sure you insert the batteries using the correct polarities. Always remember to dispose of used batteries in an environmental friendly way. Stabilizing the Projection TV For safety purposes, the projection TV can be stabilized with the supplied safety foot. The first time that you switch on your projection TV, the LANGUAGE menu appears automatically. Advanced Operation - Advanced Presetting Using the "Further Programme Preset" function With this feature you can: a) Even normally the automatic fine tuning (AFT) is operating, however you can manually fine-tune the TV to obtain a better picture reception if the picture is distorted or b) preset the AV3 output for the programme positions of channels with scrambled signals (eg from a pay TV decoder). You can however name a channel or an input video source using up to five characters (letters or numbers).
