In order to enjoy the benefits of enhanced odor control, replace the pre-filter that is already in the air purifier with the odor control filter. For proper airflow, locate the unit at least 3 feet (1 M) from any wall or furniture. • When operating, large volumes of air are drawn toward the air purifier. Surrounding areas should be cleaned and/or vacuumed frequently to prevent build-up of dust and other contaminates. This may also help prolong the life of the filter. If the unit is placed on a light colored carpet, a small mat or rug should be used

DUAL UV LAMP OPERATION • Press the UV button to turn the Lamps on or off (Fig 7). Fig. 7 • The lamps will light and you will see a faint blue glow along the top of the unit. This is a visual effect to let you know that the UV feature has been turned on.
