HOW YOUR HEPA AIR CLEANER WORKS Dirty, dust-laden air is drawn through the Air Intake Grill of the unit where it first passes through the HEPA filter cartridge. When the filter cartridge becomes clogged with particles there will be a notice- able drop in air flow and the air output will no longer be steady.
