Using the Display (PC) Setting the Timing Mode (PC RGB Input) Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen image and minimizing eye strain. The timing mode consists of the resolution (example 1280 x 768) and refresh rate (or vertical frequency; example 60 Hz). Adjusting the Screen Image Use the buttons on the front control panel (or included remote control) to display and adjust the On Screen Display (OSD) controls which display on the screen. The OSD controls are explained at the top of the next page and are defined in “Main Menu Controls” on page 12. Remote Controls Included with the N1700w Display is a credit card sized remote control. It allows easy adjustment of all available options. Additionally, when a VXP compatible adapter is installed, further utility is gained from the remote by allowing easy access to commonly used functions.
