Product Information Product Information The AMX VSS2 Video Sync Sensor (Figure 1) is equipped with two independent channels to detect video sync signals. The channels generate a logic-level output when a horizontal sync signal is detected. You can use the VSS2 for systems that require true power status for a VCR, tuner, or satellite receiver. Installing The VSS2 Rack-Mounting the VSS2 (optional) To rack-mount the VSS2 into the optional AC-RK Accessory Rack Kit: 1. Remove any connected power, AXlink, and RS-232 connectors from the rear panel. 2. Remove the two screws on the front panel of the VSS2. 3.
