Installation of the battery. The battery may not be installed in the unit when it arrives. To install the battery, remove the protective padded case around the unit. Control Panel Layout. Charging the battery. The battery pack becomes the charger when you connect the AC/DC wall adapter included in the package. Your new fully charged power pack will provide between 100 to 200 full charge flashes depending on the model you have. This is an approximation for full power flashes and dialing down power can increase the number of charges you will have for your light. Carry a backup battery when you are in the field for extended periods of time, or do not have access to power. Note: When you are using the light in battery mode, the modeling circuit is disabled to prevent incidental draining of battery power
