Removal Important: Make sure data is backed up before removing the hard drive. Apple is not responsible for any lost data. 1 Shut down computer. 2 Unplug all cables. 3 Put on ESD strap or touch metal to discharge electricity. Caution: To prevent scratches to the case, use a protective cloth when working with metal tools.
