GETTING STARTED Connecting Headphones (Optional) The CX-R189 is equipped with both an integrated speaker and a head- phone output jack that can be used to connect headphones or an external speaker system.  The Headphone Out jack will accept headphones or speakers with a 3.5mm connector plug.  If headphones or speakers are connected to the Headphone Out jack, the integrated speaker will be disabled.
