Operation Setting the Squelch 1. To turn the unit ON, rotate VOLUME clockwise. Adjust volume to a comfortable level. Operation with the aid of a repeater The Signal coming from your radio is received by the Repeater Station and then re- transmitted at the same time on another channel. Voice Scrambler UH-100 has a built-in scrambler / de-scrambler circuit. The Voice Scrambler feature prevents users, without the necessary descrambler equipment, "understanding" your conversation.
