Chapter 2 - Hardware Installation Installing the Modem Driver If you use Windows 2000 or newer, you must install the modem driver. If you use another operating system, see Appendix B. When operating the modem under Windows, the modem driver can be installed by using the Plug and Play feature. Follow the procedure below. 1.
