QUICK START STEP 1: Connect the XIS100 to the power supply and use the included A/V cable to connect to a composite video and audio amplifier. The XIS100 is preconfigured for composite video support. BASIC CONNECTIONS The XIS100 is ready to be used right out of the box. Simply connect a power supply and determine if composite or component video is required. In all cases, the A/V cable must be used to provide left and right audio connections. In component video applications, the composite end on the A/V cable has no connection. NOTE 1: The XIS100 is shipped with composite video output selection. To change to component video, first connect the composite video output, then proceed through the ‘settings’ on the on-screen display. In the ‘Settings’ menu, select “TV Out” and then “Component” to set the XIS100 to component video output.
