Turning on Sony Reader Slide the POWER switch in the direction of  to turn on Sony Reader. Slide the POWER switch. Sony Reader turns on. The start-up screen appears when turning on for the first time, or after reset, or when the battery is depleted. Lights up in orange when Sony Reader is turned on.
