INSTALLING THE XOi DIGITAL HOME SYSTEM 1. Prewire The XOi uses Cat-5 cable for keypad control and either two- or four-conductor 16- gauge speaker wire.All the wire is homerun from each zone to the XOi. 2. 4. Installing the XOi The XOi is designed to be placed on a shelf or in a component rack. If you are mounting the XOi with other components,you should remove the feet. 6. Keypad XK1 and Zone Setup The Zone number each keypad XK1 belonging to is decided by which RJ45 connector each keypad connected through Cat-5 cable from JK2 of XK1 to XOi.
