Install the MicroRouter hardware and connect it to a line commu- nication device (including a modem, 56K CSU/DSU, or ISDN Ter- minal Adapter). 2. If you are installing a twisted-pair connection, and the twisted-pair hub is already in place, you can connect the router to an active network without interrupting network activity.
