Unpacking And Installing The Printer NOTE: This Quick Setup Guide covers both the SL5000r and T5000r printers. The SL5000r is a smart label printer: it is equipped with an RFID encoder and has the “RFID Smart” logo near the control panel. The 4 and 6 inch T5000r printers do not come equipped with RFID encoders, but are field upgradable to SL5000r printers. The 8 inch T5000r printer is currently not RFID compatible. Unpacking The Printer The printer is shipped in a carton and protective bag.
