LIMIT KEY This key has two functions in Search Mode: (a) to step down a frequency; and (b) to set the search band limits. To manually step down, press and hold [LMT]. '- Setup The UBC 2500XL T comes with a rechargeable Nickel-Cadmium Battery Pack. When fully charged, this Battery Pack will supply up to 5 hours of dependable use. Before using the UBC 2500XL T for the first time, or whenever the LOW BATTERYIndicator appears on the LCD display, you should fully charge the Battery Pack. Programming Channels Before you can scan, you must program the channels within a bank. You can store one frequency per channel, up to 400 channels. Each time you store a frequency, the list of scanning frequencies in the bank is automatically sorted by frequency number. This unique Auto Sort feature enables faster scanning. When you manually step through a bank, however, frequencies are sorted according to channel number. With the UBC 2500XL T, there are a number of ways to program a channel: .
