AXIS 221 - Product Features 5 Product Features The AXIS 221 is part of the latest generation of fully featured Axis Network Cameras, based on the AXIS ARTPEC-2 compression chip. It features a DC-Iris and supports Power over Ethernet. It also features a metal casing and an infrared (IR) filter for day and night operation. AXIS 221 - Product Features 6 The AXIS 221 features a varifocal lens with DC-Iris, which automatically regulates the amount of light entering the camera. Tele/wide and focus are adjusted manually with the aid of the pullers mounted on the lens. The AXIS 221 is also available without a lens. The AXIS 221 can be powered from the network cabling and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) network transformers conforming to IEEE 802.3af.
