HDD power LEDs There are four HDD power LEDs, one for each SCSI HDD. • The LED lights up steady GREEN when an HDD is installed on the drive tray. • The LED lights up steady RED when the installed HDD fails. • The LED flickers RED when the HDD is creating a RAID configuration. 2.1 Removing and installing the chassis cover Removing the cover 1. To release the cover, push the two latches outward, then slide the cover towards the rear for about half an inch. 2.
