P6 Using the iHC5 Connect iHC5 to Power Source a) Plug the AC adaptor cable into the AC adaptor jack and the other end into a standard 120 VAC wall socket. Adaptor must be plugged in to operate. P10 Replacing Clock Backup Battery The iHC5 uses a backup battery system (3 pre-installed AA Replace Backup Battery batteries) to provide continuous alarm operation and clock settings in the event of a power failure.
